- 2 cups cooked chickpeas or one 15-oz can, drained and rinsed
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2-4 tbsp water to adjust consistency
Combine all ingredients in a food processor.
Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
Add water gradually until the desired consistency is achieved.
