Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- 1 Pound Beef Chuck (Cut into 1-inch Cubes)
- 4 Yukon Gold Potatoes (Cubed)
- 1 ½ Cups Mushrooms (Halved)
- 1 Onion (Cut into 6 Wedges)
- 2 Carrots (Cut into 1/2-inch Thick Slices)
- 2 Cloves Garlic (Minced)
- 3 Cups Beef Broth
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Tomato Paste
- 1 TeaspoonSalt
- ½ Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
- ½ Teaspoon Dried Rosemary
Directions
- Lets gather up all the ingredients first.
- Get a multi-functional pressure cooker (Known as Instant Pot), Turn it On & select the Sauté function. Put the butter in the pot for Melting.
- Cook beef chuck cubes for about 5 minutes. Better to cook in several batches to make sure all sides of the beef is browned.
- Put every browned beef chuck cubes back in the pot. Then add potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, onions and garlic; cover them with some beef broth. Stir in after adding some Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, rosemary, salt & pepper.
- After closing lock the lid. From menu options select Meat/Stew function, as manufacturer’s instructions; set a timer of 35 minutes. Let the pressure to build up for about 10 to 15 minutes.
- Using natural-release method release the pressure for about 10-40 minutes, as manufacturer’s instructions. Finally unlock & remove the lid.
